Legal
Consent
Rollworth is a founder-owned property tax appeal company. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
What you are asked, and what it means
The assessment check asks for up to three separate permissions. They are independent: agreeing to one is not agreeing to any other, and the answer to each one is stored, including a no.

Reply to me by email about this property
Required, because it is how we send you the numbers. Nothing else is sent to you.
Required. Without it there is no way for us to answer you, so the submission is refused rather than stored. It covers correspondence about the property you asked about. It is not a subscription and there is no newsletter attached to it.
You may also text me
Optional. We never send a text without this, and leaving a number here is not the same as agreeing to it.
Optional, and independent of everything else. Giving us a mobile number is not consent to be texted. This checkbox is. If it is not ticked, no text message is sent, and the fact that it was not ticked is stored so that stays true.
Tell me if Rollworth opens my area
Optional. One message if it happens, and nothing in the meantime. You are not entering a sales process.
Only offered if your property is outside our seven counties. If you tick it, we will contact you once, if and when we begin accepting properties in your area. If you do not, nothing happens at all: we do not follow up on properties we cannot help with.
What we record
For each permission, we store:
- whether you agreed or declined;
- the version of the wording you were shown, which is the version quoted above;
- when you decided;
- which page you were on; and
- a one-way hash of the connecting IP address, never the address itself.
We keep declines as well as agreements. A recorded "no" is what proves nobody was contacted who did not ask to be.
Withdrawing
Email hello@rollworth.com and say which permission you are withdrawing. We will action it and record the withdrawal the same way we recorded the consent.
You can also withdraw permission for email contact, in which case we will stop and close the enquiry, because there is no other way for us to reply to you.
What a submission is not
Giving these permissions is not an engagement, and it does not create a client relationship. See the terms and how it works.
